Pick Your 1. 100% Client-Side Spreadsheet Processing
Pick Your Card processes your spreadsheets entirely within your local web browser using client-side JavaScript. When you load an Excel workbook (.xlsx, .xls) or CSV file into our generator:
- Your spreadsheet data is parsed exclusively inside your device's local browser memory.
- Your checklist files, card inventories, SKUs, and pricing are never transmitted, uploaded, or stored on any external server.
- When you close or refresh the generator tab, your uploaded spreadsheet rows are immediately cleared from memory.
2. Browser Local Storage (localStorage)
To save you from re-typing your eBay configuration on future visits, Pick Your Card stores your non-sensitive seller profile defaults (such as item zip code, country code, eBay Category ID, and eBay Business Policy names) in your browser's local storage (localStorage). This data remains strictly on your local device and can be cleared at any time using the "Reset Defaults" button or your browser settings.
3. Web Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure anonymous, aggregated website traffic and feature usage (such as page views, guide readership, and general device categories). Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish unique sessions without collecting personally identifiable spreadsheet content. You may opt out of Google Analytics cookies using your browser's privacy controls or the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)
We partner with Google AdSense to display advertisements on our informational publisher articles and guides. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet.
